With the Retos platform, we solve for the long-standing problem of continuity in community-based initiatives in design and engineering. We provide a digital platform to document, access, and share key information on local innovation initiatives.

Dormio ︎︎︎

Dormio is a wearable device that uses biosignal tracking to detect hypnagogic sleep states. It uses this information to prompt users with information with the goal to explore the relations between sleep and creativity.

The Role of Social Robots in Fostering Human Empathy ︎︎︎

Using biometrics and designed interactions with social robots, we explored the question: can social robots support children in elementary school rebuild empathy skills?

As research connected to space exploration becomes more accessible, opportunities to improve austranauts’ experiences by better supporting their connection to loved ones on Earth. In this work we asked: can we enable social connectivity between astronauts and people on Earth through an embodied agent?
